Hey guys,
Few months ago I pointed to this issue here. And we still face it:
https://ci.eclipse.org/mylyn/job/gerrit-mylyn-tasks/1869/console
https://ci.eclipse.org/mylyn/job/gerrit-mylyn-commons/439/console

This is not really welcoming to the community and gives the wrong
impression that submitted patches are terribly bad. Are there plans to
change it ?

Hi,

I agree that this is not ideal, but no, we have no plans to change this,
unless a better security mechanism becomes available (
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=532252 ?). This was
introduced in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=375350 to
prevent malicious code execution and I think the risk is enough to justify
the inconvenience. I believe Mylyn is not the only project using it. In
theory, contributions should be quickly triaged and builds retriggered by
committers, but of course this is not always the case.

Cheers,
Sam
